The Population Research Center at the Medical University of Białystok receives the Urbi Meritus medal!
We are proud to announce that the Population Research Center of the Medical University of Białystok has been awarded the Urbi Meritus medal – Distinguished Service to the City.
The award was granted for the implementation of the innovative Białystok PLUS study, which has a real impact on the health and quality of life of the residents of Białystok, as well as for a significant contribution to building the city’s position as a European center for population health research.
The award was presented by the Mayor of Białystok, Tadeusz Truskolaski, during the Białystok City Days celebrations and was received by Prof. Karol Kamiński, Director of the Population Research Center and Vice-Rector for Preventive Medicine and Open Science at the Medical University of Białystok.
