Białystok PLUS at ESC 2025 in Madrid!

The Białystok PLUS project was strongly represented at this year’s European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress, one of the most important cardiology events in the world.

New scientific discoveries based on data from Białystok PLUS were presented in two formats:

W moderowanej sesji ePosterowej dr Marlena Dubatówka zaprezentowała wyniki badania pt.:

„Proteomic signatures associated with diastolic dysfunction and cardiac remodelling in a general population: insights from the Białystok PLUS Study”

In her presentation, Dr. Dubatówka discussed the relationship between plasma proteins and diastolic dysfunction and myocardial remodeling in the context of diabetes and prediabetes.

In the poster session Małgorzata Chlabicz, PhD presented her work:

„Proteomic profiling of left atrial strain provides new plasma proteins that reflect or predict early complications of cardiovascular diseases”

The study presented correlations between proteomic profiles and left atrial deformation parameters, which may reflect early structural changes in the heart and predict cardiovascular complications.

Awards from the Minister of Health for academic teachers and researchers from the Medical University of Białystok

At the Ministry of Health on 25.11.2025. Undersecretary of State Katarzyna Kęcka presented awards to MUB academics and researchers.
